Dan Warnock grew up in Northeast Oregon and graduated with a bachelor’s degree in animal science in 1953. He has been very active in the cattle industry, the community, and with the university. He has been treasurer for the Oregon Cattlemen’s Association, regional vice president for the Oregon Cattlemen’s Association, an E.R. Jackman board member, and Baker County Livestock Association past-president. Dan was a livestock extension agent and served as a loan officer for First Interstate Bank. He is a charter member of Oregon Country Beef. He received the National Cattlemen’s Beef Association Western Regional Land Steward award.
