The on campus location (Central Research Facility) consists of three buildings that are utilized for student run broiler grows and genetic research in adult layers. Space is also utilized for class projects.
The Poultry Center is located 1.5 miles from campus. It currently consists of new building capable of maintaining broilers, adult layers on the floor or birds in battery cages. A brooder building used to brood and grow replacement birds, battery cages to brood and house quail, storage for equipment and feed and an office. A feed mill is located in the next adjacent building in the south end along with an incubator room, fertile and market egg coolers and an egg processing room in the north end of the building. A layer house is also located here with cages used for larger breed chickens.
Labor for the Poultry Center is supplied by the manager, two full-time employees, and students.
