Continental Grain-ASAS Graduate Scholarships

 

Objective: To provide monetary award for students demonstrating outstanding potential in the research of nutritional sciences of food animals, specifically in the areas of dairy, swine and poultry nutrition.

Awards are made primarily in the fields of animal nutrition and interrelated disciplines as applied to animal, dairy and poultry science.

Awards will be made on an annual basis. Three awards will be given. Previous winners are not eligible. Amount of awards: $1,000.00 each. One award each will be made in the following areas: dairy, swine and poultry nutrition; however, the allocation may be altered at the discretion of the selection committee after review of all applications.

Any individual qualified for graduate study in any agricultural college who possesses desirable personal qualifications and submits a complete application may be eligible. The application and required information ?

Selection of recipients of the research awards, as well as the rules governing the awards, shall be made by a Committee of four officially appointed representatives of the American Society of Animal Science and one representative of Continental Grain Company.
