In an effort to promote Oregon's sheep industry and to provide educational opportunities for students majoring in agricultural sciences or veterinary medicine, the Oregon Sheep Growers Association, Inc. annually presents a scholarship award up to $1,000 to qualified students.

The scholarship awards are intended to assist with direct educational expenses, such as tuition, books, or related fees. The award check will be made payable to the successful applicant and the educational institution which he/she is attending.

Basic Requirements:

• Majoring in an Agricultural Science or Veterinary Medicine, with a career interest in the sheep industry. This includes both undergraduate and graduate level studies.
• Scholarship intended for college level students - sophomore level or beyond including graduate students.
• Applicants must be Oregon residents; however, the recipient need not be attending an Oregon college or university. See Dodi in With 114 for an application.
• Completed applications must be sent to the Oregon Sheep Growers Association Office no later than July 1, 2006.
