Objective: To assist in the training of personnel for leadership in the nutritional sciences of food and companion animals.

Awards will be made in the fields of nutrition and interrelated disciplines as applied to animal, dairy, and poultry science.

Stipend - $12,500.

• Research fellowships will be awarded on an annual basis. The assistance must be applied to graduate study conducted during the 2000/01 academic year. Previous winners are not eligible.
• Three research fellowships will be awarded annually. Intentions are to award one each in dairy science, animal science, and poultry science; however, this allocation may be altered at the discretion of the Selection Committee after review of all applications.
• Any individual enrolled or expected to enroll for graduate study in an accredited graduate program at a U.S. University or Institution who possesses desirable personal qualifications and submits a completed application may be eligible.
